Brunch is one of my favorite “Western” mealtime traditions. Nothing beats sleeping late on a weekend and then hitting up your favorite little independent restaurant for a huge meal that combines both breakfast and lunch- thus the name “brunch”! (That was your daily English lesson.) Here is an omelette filled with sage-roasted yams, served with pesto-tossed hash brown potatoes and sourdough bread.
